MG Subscribe is an online car subscription program tailor-made for retail customers, corporate entities, SMEs and professionals, looking for interim car ownership. Unlike leasing and buying, subscription offers flexible tenure and hassle-free car ownership. The subscription comes at zero down payment and takes care of the maintenance, insurance, and other value-added services. At the end of the tenure, the car can be returned or swapped with a new one.
MG Subscribe is currently available in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Chennai.
MG Subscribe car subscription starts at minimum 6 months and can be extended up to whatever time you want. It is a more flexible option compared to leasing, where the minimum lock-in period is 3 years. At the end of the subscription tenure, you can either return, renew or upgrade the car.
Yes. You can return the car before the end of the subscription tenure. However, your monthly charges will be calculated on the shorter term rather than the original tenure of your subscription

Once you register for the program, you will need to upload a few documents for verification. Upon application approval your car will be delivered to you.
Under MG Subscribe, multiple car variants and colors are available for both, brand new and less-driven cars. The latter is fully serviced and fine-tuned before it is handed over to you at the beginning of your subscription tenure.
The car will be registered with a white number plate. The tolls, parking charges, etc. will be the same as what you pay for your personal car.
The cars you see on the MG’ platform are displayed basis city of registration chosen by you. So if you’re searching for a car to subscribe to in Delhi, you will get a car privately registered in Delhi to use as your personal car.
Along with all the standard accessories that the manufacturer provides as default, the model and variant chosen by you comes equipped with a centralized tracking system, for safety purposes. You can also check what accessories are provided with the car at the time of subscribing.
The cars can be used for regular travel purposes like the everyday commute, short trips, long drives, etc. However, using the car for speed racing, carrying large or hazardous things and transporting goods or transportation of passengers on a commercial basis, is not permitted.
At the time of subscribing, you can choose the kilometers depending on your usage. You can select a maximum of up to 3000 Km per month. Kilometers driven beyond the opted kms will be chargeable.
For a quicker delivery process, we have kept paperwork to minimal, to ensure that you receive your car once your application stands approved. In case, there is any change in the schedule, you will be informed beforehand.
MG will ensure that the car is handed over with all documents basis your convenience. At the end of your tenure, you can choose to renew or upgrade your subscription. If you wish to return, MG will facilitate the pick-up.
No, you don't need to make any down payment to get the car.
The monthly subscription fee is inclusive of insurance, maintenance and roadside assistance besides a helpline desk with your personal relationship manager for any assistance at any time.
The payment date of the monthly fee is the date of commencement of the subscribed car. For example – if you take the 6 months’ subscription plan on the 20th July 2019, the 20th of every month will be considered as the payment day throughout your subscription tenure.
To ensure that car ownership via MG Subscribe is smooth and hassle free, we take care of the car insurance during subscription period and is included in the subscription fee.
As with any privately-owned car, the user or the person driving the car will have to pay for the tolls, parking, inter-state taxes and fuel.
Basic documents required to complete the subscription process are:
  1. PAN card,
  2. Address proof (passport or Adhaar card) and
  3. the Driving license.
Upon receiving approval from Myles on subscription application. Following documents are to be submitted/ provided by Subscriber:
  1. An online agreement to be signed.
  2. One-month advance subscription rental as refundable security deposit.
  3. Standing instructions or NACH (auto debit form) to be provided to manage your monthly payments.
  4. Further, 6 PDC’s equivalent to the monthly subscription amount to be submitted, which shall have refunded at term end after adjusting any incidental expenses may arise during subscription period.
The pricing is based on the car category, subscription tenure and Kilometers selected by you. The longer you subscribe for, the lower the monthly subscription rate will be.
If you return the car before the end of the subscription tenure, you will have to pay the subscription amount set for the tenure shorter than the one selected by you. Example – If you opt for the 18 months’ subscription plan (which was billed at Rs. 20,000 p.m.) and choose to return the car in the 13th month only, then you will be charged the subscription fee calculated for the 12 months’ plan (which was calculated at Rs. 23,000).
Since the car prices and registration charges vary from state to state, therefore rentals also vary accordingly.
Myles will be your single point contact for any assistance during the subscription program. The MG car you are subscribing to is offered via Myles’ platform are owned by Myles Business Partners. Hence, the tri-partite agreement is among Myles, the Business Partner and you.

Meaning of the Standing Instruction

A standing instruction is essentially a one-time instruction given by you to your bank, telling the bank to automatically 'transfer' funds to another person or business at regular (fixed) intervals. Businesses that collect a regular fee for either subscriptions or installment payments ask you to authorize the standing instructions for smooth and hassle-free payment settlement.

Here’s how it works

Say you authorize standing instruction to us for the monthly payment of the subscription fee. Post your authorization, the monthly subscription amount and the incidental expenses (if any) will be directly debited from your registered credit card every month at the same time, until you cancel the standing instruction via your bank.

You need to authorize 2X the monthly subscription fee as the amount for standing instruction

The standing instruction amount has been set to 2X the monthly subscription fee to cover the below-listed incidental expenses (if any) and ensure a hassle-free payment settlement:

  • Any shortfall or failure to pay inter-state taxes/ duties/ tolls or any other government tax and levy during the subscription period
  • Any challan issued
  • Any damage, loss or injury to the car during the subscription period
  • Any charges in respect of the extension of the subscription period

Please note that you will be notified in advance via e-mail or SMS about the exact incidental expense amount that you will be charged for a particular month, along with the fixed monthly subscription fee.

*The standing instructions shall remain valid for a period of 15 days following the day you hand over the car to us.

The periodic maintenance cost is included in the subscription fee. For maintenance and upkeep of the cars, our customer care will contact you to schedule servicing as per your convenience.
In such cases, you can contact Road Side Assistance team on 1800 103 5079. You will be provided with the roadside assistance and will be guided through the entire process, if required.
In such cases, please notify Road Side Assistance on 1800 103 5079. You will be given road-side assistance. Unless unavoidable, it is advisable that you don’t leave the scene of the accident until proper support has arrived. You may also be required to give statement, file or sign documents related to the accident. The insurance claim would be taken care of by the business partner.
While the insurance claim is taken care of by the business partner, you are liable to pay for damages not covered under the Business Partner's Insurance Policy.
Please ensure that you return the car in the same condition as you received it (normal wear and tear is accepted) along with all documents, equipment, tools, accessories, keys, etc. Any missing items are chargeable to your account.
